It is offered separately because many Home Assistant users already have their own remote access, automations, notifications, dashboards, and sensors, so they do not also need to purchase Adventure.

Home Assistant & MQTT
Home Assistant & MQTT access is separate from Adventure and can be used with or without an Adventure plan.
Many Home Assistant users already have their own remote access, dashboards, automations, notifications, and Bluetooth sensors. Keeping this integration separate means you do not need to purchase overlapping Adventure features just to connect your RV.
RVAltCtrl publishes compatible RV systems to your MQTT broker. With Home Assistant Discovery enabled, supported batteries, tanks, lights, climate controls, and more appear automatically as a device and entities in Home Assistant. They are ready to use in the dashboards and automations you already maintain.
