RVAltCtrl Portal

Once your RVAltCtrl device has connected to your Wi-Fi network and has Internet access, the RVAltCtrl Portal at my.RVAltCtrl.com becomes the primary place to access and manage your RVAltCtrl device. The portal can be accessed from any web browser on your phone, tablet, or desktop/laptop computer.

Enter your Device ID to open your device. You can also save the Device ID in your browser so the portal can remember your device for future visits. The Device ID is saved locally in that browser.

Portal Overview

From the portal, you can:

  • See whether your RVAltCtrl device is currently online or offline
  • Connect to your device locally when you are on the same network
  • Connect remotely when Remote Access is enabled
  • Check for and install available firmware updates
  • View and purchase available features and add-ons

Because the portal is always available online, my.RVAltCtrl.com is the recommended starting point whenever you want to access your RVAltCtrl device. You'll want to bookmark it, or add it to your phone or tablet's Home Screen as described below, so it's always within easy reach.

Add RVAltCtrl to Your Home Screen

For easier access, you can add the RVAltCtrl Portal to your phone or tablet's Home Screen. This creates an RVAltCtrl icon that opens the portal like an app.

Before adding it, make sure you have your Device ID saved somewhere you can easily find it. The first time you open the Home Screen app, you may need to enter your Device ID again.

iPhone or iPad using Safari

  1. Open my.RVAltCtrl.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the three dots at the bottom right.
  3. Tap the Share button.
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. Make sure Open as Web App is enabled.
  6. Tap Add.

An RVAltCtrl icon will be added to your Home Screen. Open it anytime to access your RVAltCtrl Portal.

Android using Chrome

  1. Open my.RVAltCtrl.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.

An RVAltCtrl icon will be added to your Home Screen. Open it anytime to access your RVAltCtrl Portal.
